LECTORS & Greeters
Lectors
Lectors proclaim the Word of God to the assembly. Readers must be present 15 minutes before Mass begins and properly attired.
Training is provided by the Diocese; readers must have received the Sacrament of Confirmation. Once you have completed training at the Diocese level, there will be a session at the parish to better acquaint you with our procedures. Greeters
Greeters welcome each person as they enter Church. Must be congenial and outgoing. Greeters arrive 15 minutes prior to Mass and are needed at both entrances to Church.
