Confraternity of Christian Doctrine

“Everyone who listens to these words of mine and acts on them will be like a wise man who built his house on rock. The rain fell, the floods came, and the winds blew and buffeted the house. But it did not collapse; it had been set solidly on rock.” Matthew 7:24-25

The scripture above reminds us of the importance of building a foundation that can withstand all of life’s challenges. God calls us to listen to His Son and to be like the wise man who builds his house upon rock. He calls us to listen and to act. Religious instruction gives us the opportunity to act upon the Word of God and to strengthen that foundation. It is with religious education and become one body, one spirit in Christ.

The new school year gives us the opportunity to take advantage of our CCD (Confraternity of Christian Doctrine) program. All students in first through eighth grades are encouraged to attend CCD classes. The CCD program is developed for students that currently attend a public school or are home schooled.

Classes will be held on Mondays in the parish office building from 6:35-8:00 PM. Our CCD program will begin on Monday, September 11, and run through May 2024. If you have questions regarding CCD, please contact Susan Bier, Coordinator of Religious Education, 859-727-2035, or email Susan Bier,
