Crusader Prayer Warriors
Wednesday, August 26, 2020

While we are all excited to bring some normalcy back to our children's lives with the start of school in its traditional setting, we may also be experiencing feelings of uncertainty, concern, or even fear. Our greatest defense in this difficult time is prayer. We all know the power of prayer, we often underestimate it. Pope Francis has reminded us that the rosary is one of our most powerful prayers outside of the Mass. Because of this, we would like to begin a prayer group for our Crusader parents.

The "Crusader Prayer Warriors" will meet on Wednesday mornings at 7:35 AM in Church to pray the rosary together before Mass begins at 8:00 AM. ALL ARE WELCOME! We will be praying for the health and safety of our students and families, our St. Henry faculty and staff, healthcare workers, our government leaders, and for all those around the world impacted by the pandemic.

There will be prayer guides in the back of Church that will include the following: instructions for praying the rosary, prayers for the rosary, the Mysteries of the rosary. We understand that some may not be familiar with the rosary or may not have prayed it in a while. Please do not let this prevent you from attending. We will begin this Wednesday, August 26.

If you have any questions or if you would be interested in occasionally leading the rosary, please contact Laura Ryan (Religious Education Coordinator, St. Henry Parish) or call 859-727-2035. We hope you will join us! St. Henry, pray for us.
